-Shift Happens

I have always believed that our country has been the greatest and most powerful country there is; however, I've been mistaken. After watching this online video "Shift Happens" my whole point of view of our country literally shifted to a negative view. The facts are against us. India and China have a great chance of being the most powerful countries in the next decade.

China and India not only have a bigger population than the United States, they have more "honors" students than all of our students combined. Their students have a desire to learn, and our students are lazy and couldn't care less if their grades are good or not. Back in the 1960's our country was competing with Russia to have the better space program. That competition fueled the students desire to learn. After that the scores of science and mathematics skyrocketed.

I hope you watch the video below and realize how blinded our country has been for years. When you go to vote for the next presidential election please research what the candidate stands for, so that our country can make a 180 and change for the better!
